What’s included in Circle Time?



We will meet once a month on Tuesdays  at 7pm EST over Zoom. 

The format will be highly interactive.


We ask that you kindly keep your video and audio turned on during these meetings and participate in the group discussion. 


Don’t worry if you can’t make it! Meetings will be recorded and uploaded to our secure portal so you can watch again at your convenience.


Research Reviews

Short on time? Listen to brief videos summarizing all that you need to know about pertinent/relevant research articles. Information will be presented in a way that is easy to understand.


Product Reviews

Ever wonder whether some products are worth investing in for yourself, your patient or your practice? Listen to some product reviews, hear a discussion about the pros and cons and then decide for yourself! Let’s start trying some products and sharing feedback with one another. Tell us which one(s) you recommend!

Meet your Mentors

Laael Johnson and Chelsea Madison will moderate the monthly meetings. They will tap into their diverse training and clinical experience to offer guidance on how to put together a detailed case study that you will in turn be able to present to the group and use in your own future presentations.

Laael Johnson, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist | Orofacial Myologist

Laael Johnson is a Registered Dental Hygienist with advanced training in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.  She works together with an interdisciplinary team to help children and adults reach their healthiest level of functioning. Laael treats children starting from the age of five through adulthood. She is currently enrolled in Myo Masterminds, The Breathe Institute’s most advanced continuing education program for Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, learning alongside prominent professionals and educators in the Orofacial Myology and Airway Health. She also completed the MyoMentor program developed by Sarah Hornsby, a leading myofunctional therapist and airway health advocate. 


Laael works as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 13 years, serving patients in pediatric and adult settings. In 2019, she founded Facial Connection-Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.  Her treatment approach is multidisciplinary and collaborative. She understands the importance of comprehensive care and refers her patients to dental, medical, and allied health professionals when appropriate. Laael was the first to bring attention to Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and Airway Health in her local community. Although trying to find adjunctive care for her patients can be challenging, she remains their biggest ally.


Laael is The Director of Outreach for Airway Circle. In this role, she helps professionals connect with other professionals, patients and parents, assists in the development of continuing education events, and collaborates on Airway Circle’s various projects.

Chelsea Madison, RDH, CSOM, CBC

Registered Dental Hygienist | Orofacial Myologist

Chelsea is a Registered Dental Hygienist and the owner of The BreatheWell Group where she offers Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and Breastfeeding Counseling. She is a Certified Specialist in Orofacial Myology and is in the process of obtaining additional certifications in Orofacial Myology through the IAOM and AOMT. Chelsea is also a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor who is currently working toward her IBCLC. 


She has learned from some of the key leaders in this field including Samantha Moeller and Joy Moeller, Kimberly Benkert, and Michelle Emanuael. She trained with the Academy of Orofacial MyoFunctional Therapy and studied at the Graduate School of Behavioral Health Sciences with the Coulson Institute. She expanded her treatment population to include infants via mentoring with an Occupational Therapist to learn about cranial nerve dysfunctions and certification in the TummyTime! Method. She continues to enthusiastically pursue ongoing educational opportunities in the hopes of providing her patients with the best possible care.

Chelsea serves as the Director of Public Relations for Airway Circle. In this role, she helps to establish and maintain favorable professional relationships with our speakers, responds to member inquiries, assists in promoting ideas and new content, and serves as a collaborative partner in the launching of programs that align with Airway Circle’s vision.

Who am I?

Renata Nehme, RDH, BSDH, COM®

Airway Circle Founder

Renata Nehme has been a dental hygienist since 2010. She attended Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA for her Associates Degree and Georgia Highlands University for her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. 


Renata began her training in Orofacial Myology by attending online courses developed by professionals in Brazil, a worldwide leader in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy research .


She took her first training in the United States through the IAOM and had great mentors along the way to help her advance her career as a professional and a business owner.

She’s a graduate of the MyoMentor Course with Sarah Hornsby, a Breathe Institute Ambassador, a member of the AAPMD, the IAOM, and the ADHA. Renata continues to take additional courses to expand her knowledge in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders.


Besides raising awareness of airway issues and myofunctional disorders, Renata’s focus is on creating a community of professionals who support each other to be able to give the best to their patients! That’s why Airway Circle was born and we are so HAPPY you are here!
