From breastfeeding evaluations to picky teens, Amy has made feeding therapy her passion. With a focus on figuring out the underlying reason behind selective eating, painful breastfeeding, or problem behaviors at the table, Amy takes a holistic approach to each child and family she works with. Oral motor concerns, sensory preferences, and effects of early childhood eating habits are just a few of her areas of expertise. With over 100 hours in specialty courses and an Advanced Practice Certification in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation or Intervention, Amy has focused on feeding and swallowing therapy for the entirety of her career as an occupational therapist. She has training in the Beckman Oral Motor Approach, SOS Approach to Feeding, Tube Weaning, Breastfeeding Evaluations, Tethered Oral Tissues, Pediatric Swallowing Dysfunction, ARFID, EoE, and more. Amy genuinely loves creating a special bond with each child and family in order to make mealtimes approachable, fun, and stress free.
