Kelsey Blyudzhyus (pronounced Blue-jus) is an ASHA certified, South Carolina State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Missouri State University and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Armstrong Atlantic State University.
Kelsey has experience working with infants, children, and adults with varying degrees of communication, feeding and swallowing disorders. She has worked in early intervention, school settings, teletherapy and rehabilitation centers.
Kelsey has traveled to complete the most up-to-date advanced training in the field of pediatric feeding and studies the latest research in order to provide the best care possible. Kelsey has completed “Feed the Peds” 12-week course with a focus on pediatric feeding and swallowing, tethered oral tissues (TOTS), myofunctional disorders, and medically complex populations with a focus on assessment and intervention with individuals with sensory processing disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, prematurity, craniofacial anomalies, neurological diagnoses, gastrointestinal based diagnoses, and cardiopulmonary diagnoses.
Kelsey currently works with the early intervention (ages 0-3) and preschool populations on speech, language, and feeding skills. Her passion is working with children with pediatric feeding disorders as she has three young children of her own with congenital feeding disorders. This has given her a unique opportunity to have both professional and personal experience in the field.
