Nerissa Boggan is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Program. She is a perennial learner and an experienced practitioner and leader in the dental field, in private practice in both General and Periodontic Dentistry. She has been involved with the California Dental Association [CDA] Cares program and the Solano County Public Health & Social Services System Children’s Dental Disease Prevention Program. Nerissa brings a wealth of experience to the dental industry and is a regular attendee at dental and medical conferences detailing education for optimal airway growth, development, and function.
Nerissa is actively spreading the word about the importance of dental airway screening and patient education. She has undergone intensive training in orofacial myology that includes access to and understanding of thorough treatment programming that is individualized and based on the evaluation findings and unique needs of each client or patient. She has completed and received her Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy certificate from the Academy of Oral Myofunctional Therapy [AOMT], International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM), in COM® (Certified Orofacial Myologist) Certification Track, and The Breathe Institute (TBI)’s Myo Masterminds Program, the first of its kind and the most advanced and comprehensive 9-month literature and case-based course available today with 88 hours of instruction and hands-on learning..
