I have been a Dental Hygienist since 2010 after graduating from Waukesha County Technical College. I have great passion for whole body health, nutrition, and how it relates to overall oral health. The connection between oral health and whole body health and wellness, is quite complex. . My love for continued education, and my continued passion for dentistry, has led me to Myofunctional Therapy. Becoming a Myofunctional Therapist has encouraged further personal growth. I’m now my own boss and look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion from my own business.
While practicing as a Dental Hygienist, I was excited to take part in study clubs. This opened my interest to airway issues, as it pertains to dentistry and whole body health and wellness. The more I learned, the more questions I had. I knew the next step was to enroll in a Myofunctional Therapy course. The things I’ve learned have been incredibly beneficial to the patients I see.
As a Myofunctional Therapist, I focus on teaching patients, oral exercises. These exercises correct oral function, making a significant impact on their overall health.
Myofunctional Therapy is designed to help patients that suffer from sleep disordered breathing (snoring, OSA, UARS), speech problems, tongue thrusting, tongue tie, mouth breathing, jaw pain, oral habits, and orthodontic relapse, just to name a few. I’m excited to apply the experience and skills I’ve obtained throughout my career, in order to help people through Myofunctional Therapy. Together, we can achieve a better quality of life.
In my personal time, I love spending time with my family. We enjoy doing outdoor activities, and watching our son play sports, and grow into a wonderful young man
